Urta Islandica ltd. is a family business founded in January 2013, but the brand: urta.islandica has been used since October 2010.

Urta Islandica specialises in products made from Icelandic herbs. Our products are herbal tea, herbal salt, jams and syrup.

Urta Islandica has two retail stores and sells their products in Gourmet stores
all around Iceland. The products are made in Reykjanesbær, and the company is a certified member of the Reykjanes Geopark.

Urta Islandica is sustainable and environmental friendly company. The aim is to
limit the use of plastic as much as possible, by packing the gourmet products in glass that can be returned to the company and in Natureflex, home-compostable
material. The company is a part of Kolviður – The Iceland Carbon Fund (ICF) offers carbon offsets through tree planting.
